2 N LaSalle Retail Signage

Retail Window Signage, Real Estate Branding, Marketing Collateral

Challenge
The client needed a high-impact window signage design for a vacant retail space in a high-traffic area of downtown Chicago. The goal was to quickly grab the attention of passersby, communicate the space’s availability, and direct potential tenants to inquire.

Approach
The creative brief instructed to keep the design minimal, following a black and white designed brochure for the property, including elements of the building’s branding. The design solution focused on bold typography with a clear hierarchy: “Retail Space Available” as the primary message, followed by contact information and the JLL logo. As seen below, I initially had a more graphically bold design, but followed the the project manager’s direction for the final product.

Outcome
The signage successfully drew the attention of several prospective tenants. The piece also earned positive feedback for its clean, professional aesthetic and effective use of the existing branding for the building.
